Good day readers. Today, as the title implies, I want to delve into the topic of the people you hang with; your "posse" as we used to refer to them 'back in the day'. While I'm on this topic I'd like to publicly extend my condolences to a friend of mine whose wife passed away recently. She was a dear soul and stood up for me by introducing me at an event I had at the main library here in the capitol city of Virginia.
While it is good to have an entourage like in the popular HBO series, it is also just as good to develop your individual self as well. By learning who you are and what your purpose is here on earth you can better your situation as well as those of others, i.e. loved ones, family, friends, etc. As Christian scripture states, "Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." Thus being written, we are not to love our family more than God and if we aren't to love them who are closest to us more than God then the implication is that friends or others are also on that list.
As I travel on the journey of being a writer I am constantly challenged by interesting questions such as the one answered above. In my writings I seek to improve the quality of entertainment and understanding; I believe both are fundamental in searching for enlightenment. I hope you continue to travel with me as we reach for greater understanding of the journey of life. Remember God loves you and so do I.
