Hello "party people"! Happy Friday! I hope you all enjoy your weekend. First off, I'd like to give thanks to God and those who joined me in prayer for the healthy comeback of Bernie Sanders. As you all may know, I am currently working on a sci-fi ("science fact") novel entitled The Transcendants. In making the jump from historical and autobiographical fiction to science fiction, I researched several pieces of literature. On my office bookshelf is a novel by Caleb Carr entitled Killing Time; it served as inspiration for today's blog title.
As we wait for events to unfold on the campaign trail and in our prospective lives, we often search for ways to make time go by easier. I meditate, some pray, others may "be still and know" (a reference to biblical scripture) and some may also witness or observe; either way the goal is to successfully navigate oneself to his/her destination. I think that's something to remember as we approach the holiday season and look forward to spending time with family, friends and others whom we may love.
