Hello folks, today's blog title comes from a familiar childhood song. On attending a "meetup" group I belong to that cultivates spiritual freedom, a member sang the refrain and commented on it's truthfulness. I mentioned I remembered thinking that a while back, and may have heard it from one of the several spiritual gurus I listen to online from-time-to-time.
If you think about the lyrics, "Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream. Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily. Life is but a dream." They seem to make a lot of sense. Indeed, many gurus postulate on the necessity of doing things gently; with ease, and of course, many, if not all, emphasize the need to be happy. I myself have written about life being somewhat of a dream state; with people being in different stages of awakening.
The simplicity of the ballad conjures up memories of childhood and grade school; where everyone seemed to be in unison, traveling through life together under the teacher's guidance. It is in settings like these were I learned to love the manifestation of the written word. Now, as an adult, I try to put these practices to work to benefit others, as well as myself, and bring people to higher states of consciousness.
I hope you continue to journey with me as I further seek to do this. You can enhance your experience with the literature on my website. Please,
don't be afraid to visit. Until next time, remember, God loves you and so do I.
