Greetings everyone. Happy Friday the 13th Lol! I have always contended that 13 was in fact a lucky number; counting the Apostle Paul, there were actually 13 disciples of the Messiah. As we "close in" on Christmas, I would like to highlight the need to get away that we often feel when faced with the stresses and strains of the holiday season.
Over Thanksgiving, several family members and I rehashed old theories behind good and bad stress; good stress being planning a romantic getaway; bad stress being worrying about something unfortunate that may or may not happen in the future. Either way, I think it's good to always find some form of escape in either endeavor. Escape from a good stressor can alleviate any possible excessive stress about something positive, and escape from negative stress enables you to avoid the pitfalls that come with the completion of negative actions.
And, of course, if you want to avoid all of this completely just purchase a copy or copies of some of my reading material:) Reminiscing over why I wrote a few of them, I remembered that part of my heritage was Native American, thus the book Seven Chiefs, and also Scottish, thus The Boar and the Leopard. The Foundation of Heaven was an attempt to merge the two perspectives, European and Mesoamerican, in the retelling of the fall of Azteca, with a surprise at the end.
Until next time, remember God loves you and so do I.
