Make 'em Black

Good day to all. I currently am reading an encyclopedia of mythology (in place of a gaming system I once owned that konked out on me lol). It is very intriguing and contains information on all forms of mythology. However, as I was reading about the Greek version I noticed, yet again, how their statues in the pictures and frescos were of figures who were obviously European. It reminded me of how when I look at Egyptian statues, edifices, and drawings their figures are obviously African yet credit to that fact is still not displayed in pop culture or holistically.

I think it's assuredly about time to rectify that once and for all! There's an old saying, "What's good for the geese is good for the gander." If I can go to the movies, which are now for the most part reopening in the outside world, and see films that display white, Greek, Roman and Nordic Gods then I most definitely should be able to see ones that depict African ones.

In remembrance of Chadwick Boseman I think it's fitting that this occurrence happen. Until next time, remember God loves you and so do I.
